We want you to use AIPU because it actually replaces a stack of subscriptions for you — not because you're locked in. So we keep this simple: if AIPU isn't a fit, you get your money back. The full rules are below.
1. The 14-day money-back guarantee
For every paid AIPU plan, you have 14 calendar days from the date of your first paid charge to request a full refund of that first charge for any reason — or no reason at all. This applies whether you upgraded after the free trial, signed up directly to a paid plan, or were charged at annual renewal of a brand-new annual subscription.
2. Monthly plans
If you're on a monthly plan and request a refund within 14 days of your first charge, we refund the full amount of that charge and close your paid subscription immediately. After the 14-day window, monthly subscriptions are not refundable for the current period, but you can cancel any time from the billing page in your account and you won't be charged again.
3. Annual plans
Annual plans get the same 14-day guarantee on the first paid charge. After that window, annual plans are non-refundable for the remainder of the current 12-month term, but you can cancel auto-renewal at any time and continue using the plan until it expires. We do not pro-rate annual plans for early cancellation.
4. Renewals
Subsequent renewals (the second month, the second year, etc.) are not eligible for the 14-day guarantee — only your first paid charge is. If you forgot to cancel before a renewal and reach out within 7 days of the renewal charge, contact support@tryaipu.com and we'll usually make it right; this isn't a guaranteed right, but it is our standard practice for one-off oversights.
5. What's not refundable
- Add-on packs of generation credits or voice-clone seats consumed before the refund request.
- Custom enterprise contracts, which are governed by their own order forms.
- Charges older than 14 days (for the first-charge guarantee) or 7 days (for renewal good-faith reversals).
- Refunds requested after a serious Terms of Service violation that resulted in account termination.
6. How to request a refund
- Email support@tryaipu.com from the email address on your AIPU account.
- Use the subject line "Refund request".
- That's it — no form, no exit interview. If you'd like to share a sentence on what didn't work, we'd love the feedback so we can fix it for the next person, but it's not required.
7. How long it takes
We process the refund within one business day of receiving your email. Once processed, your bank or card issuer typically takes another 5–10 business days to post it back to your statement, depending on your country and card network. For PayPal, refunds are usually visible within 24 hours.
8. Chargebacks
Please email us before filing a chargeback with your bank — most disputes can be resolved in minutes by email and don't need to involve your card issuer. Chargebacks filed without first contacting support@tryaipu.com may result in account suspension while we investigate, but a refund through the proper channel is always the faster path.
9. Local consumer protections
This policy is in addition to — never instead of — any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your country (for example, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal). If those rights give you a more generous refund window than this policy, we honor the more generous one.
